Spectra display - line thickness

Post by alex » Tue Aug 28, 2012 9:49 am

Hi Andreas,

Perhaps you could assist me in the following. I want to display and print a number of spectrums with inceased line thickness. Where and how can I change the spectra thickness in Opus 6.5.

Thanks for your help

Cheers

Basicly like the image attached (screen shot) with increased line thickness and increased fond size.

Hello,

we're probably talking Windows version, right? (although it doesn't really matter here...)

I'm afraid I need to resort to openly saying that specifying line thickness in the spectra display is in fact not supported (after having both reviewed our implementation and also consulted a colleague who recently got to know the state of this, too).

It may be possible to generate more flexible output with varying line width via means of plot layouts (plot layout editor, etc.), however.

One could imagine a philosophy behind this that scientific data always ought to be displayed with the highest fidelity possible, under which circumstances an (arguably improperly) multi-pixel line may hurt precision of presentation.

Does that help, any other questions?

Yours sincerely,
