Re: 23025 Preamplifier Gain Calibration is Required
Hello Andreas, I am definitely using a LUMOS device. I am unable to locate a config.htm file in the opus program files and am not familiar with a "full report page". Is this referring to the detector status as accessed through the diagnostics window? Kind of looks like a spreadsheet with all sorts o...

23025 Preamplifier Gain Calibration is Required
Hello again, JConley here: I am running into an error (see subject) when I take reflection measurements. Clicking the "Diagnose" button that shows up brings me to the usual instrument/component status menu. Any ideas on how to calibrate the preamplifier gain? Any help is appreciated! Thank you in ad...

Re: Locked all user accounts
I found if I delete the UserDatabase.dat (copied it so I could restore it after) I can log in as a generic operator in the default workspace. Unfortunately, I cannot manage users (User Management) as the operator-type user. So while I didn't REALLY make any progress, I have a solution that I just ne...

Locked all user accounts
Hello there, I seem to have made a huge mistake. I was setting up users in the OPUS software in preparation for a system we are rolling out where only those specifically trained to use the LUMOS will have access to it. I set up all the users I wanted and then proceeded to lock all the users thinking...

Re: Info block Generation
UpDATE: Got the file to save with an intact data block! Set all variable indexes to [0] in user dialogue windows and used the following as a save command <$ResultFile 3> = SaveAs ([<$ResultFile 2>:Spec],[<$ResultFile 2>:Info], {DAP='Q:\FTIR - LUMOS Data Drop and Library\Library\Standards', SAN='<Sub...

Info block Generation
Hello again, JConley here. I am still working on the averaging macro mentioned in another thread (took a hiatus from the project for a month or so) so I am more or less in the same stage in developing. My macro will take a number of sample measurements, average them, add an info block, save the file...

Re: Averaging - File compatability
Andreas, Thank you for the quick response. I have been writing and testing the macro as an administrator in a workspace that is a slightly-modified clone of one of the workspaces the installing technician built. I have not modified the User Settings data paths in any workspace I use. Individual spec...

Averaging - File compatability
Hello, I am working with OPUS 7.5 and trying to build a macro to allow our users to add standards to our raw materials spectrum library. Our operators will measure a number of samples from a batch or batches of what will be assumed to be the same material. Spectrum for each sample will then be avera...
